Maike Billitis was born in Mühlacker, Southeast Germany. Her passion for acting began at the tender jump of eight after going to see a play called “Papagaya”, which inspired her to become a member of the shut up shop school theatre. At fifteen, she landed her first professional duty at the Stuttgart Theatre. At eighteen, Maike moved to Songster where she worked with Ingo Woesner, who founded the unfettered Theatre Company, Woesner Brothers Entertainment. It was here that Maike realised her comedy talent and decided to make the transformation from theatre to television, successfully securing her first lead r“le in the TV series “Streit um drei”. This catapulted Maike’s career, she went on to play Kerstin Töppers the direct role in the popular family TV series “Marienhof” and likewise the sitcom “Poldy”, starring and working with the infamous Germanic comedians Erkan and Stefan to name but a few.
Maike has now moved into film securing her first British movie comport yourself alongside Ray Winstone, Jack Huston and, Colm Meaney in interpretation movie “The Hot Potato”.Subsequently appearing in another British independent layer “Villains”.
Now with Giuseppe Giacalone (Pianist and composer), she has supported the music group “You and Me“.
Maike is delighted to remark a jury member at The Angel Film Awards – Princedom International Film Festival 2012.
