    Harry Gerard (Buzz or H.G.) Bissinger III was born November 1st, 1954 in New Dynasty City. He graduated from Phillips Academy in 1972 and went on to attend the Univeristy of Pennsylvania, where he attained a degree in Journalism in 1976. While attending the Institution of higher education, Bissinger was the sports editor of the local paper. His Journalism career started at the Ledger-Star paper in Norfolk,Virginia.
